Exact Auto Repair began with one mechanic, one bay, and a belief that car repair could be honest, transparent and genuinely helpful. Sixteen years later, that belief still drives everything we do.
How We Started
Xavier Bennett opened Exact Auto Repair in 2010 after years of watching friends and family get overcharged and talked down to at big-chain shops. He set out to build the opposite: a place where technicians explain what's wrong, show you the worn part, quote a fair price, and never sell you something you don't need. Word spread fast. Today our team of ASE-certified technicians serves thousands of Austin-area drivers every year — but the founding promise hasn't changed one bit.
